Honor Launches Entry-Level 8S With Sizeable Bezels[/caption]The Honor 8S contains a 5.7-inch HD + LCD screen with a water drop slot for the 5MP selfie camera. The front camera will serve as the only biometric authentication method in the absence of a fingerprint reader. At the rear you will find the 13 MP f / 1.8 PDAF 13MP main camera with a single LED flash.
The Helio A22 SoC powers the Honor 8S with 2GB RAM and 32GB expandable storage. The battery life should be good thanks to the 3,020mAh cell, but as expected for this price range, you will be blocked by the microUSB for loading and transferring data. The 3.5mm headphone jack is present next to an FM radio receiver.
The Honor 8S will run on EMUI 9 with Android Pie ready for use. The phone is already on sale in Russia and should conquer new markets in the coming weeks.
You can choose the 8S in black, blue or gold and the price is 8,490 rubles, which corresponds to 130 $ / 120 €.
