Huawei Y5 (2019) with 5.71-inch display, MediaTek Helio A22 announced

The Huawei Y5 2019 that fled a few times earlier this month is finally official. This is essentially the Huawei Y6 Pro 2019 with a smaller screen, less RAM and a low-resolution selfie camera.

The Y6 Pro 2019 comes with a 6.09-inch display, 3 GB of RAM and an 8MP selfie, while the Y5 2019 features a 5.71-inch display, 2 GB of RAM and a device front photo of 5 MP. Aside from these differences, everything else remains the same on these two smartphones.

The Huawei Y5 2019 is powered by the SoC Helio A22 and immediately runs the EMUI 9 system based on Android. It offers 16GB and 32GB storage options and a dedicated microSD slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.

The Y5 2019 is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera and a 3020 mAh battery powered by a microUSB port. It is available in four colors: midnight black, modern black, amber brown and sapphire blue. With the exception of the blue variant, all other models feature a leatherette finish.
