A touch screen, or touch screen, is an input device that is normally superimposed over an electronic display of an information processing system. A user can enter or control the information processing system by single or multiple gestures by touching the screen with a special stylus or one or more fingers. [1] Some touch screens use ordinary gloves or a special coating to work, while others may only work with a special stylus or pen. The user can use the touch screen to react to what is displayed and, if the software allows it, to control its display. for example, zoom to increase the size of the text.

The touch screen allows the user to interact directly with what is displayed, rather than using a mouse, touchpad or other device of this type (other than a stylus, optional for most screens modern tactile).
