Vivo Y17 with 5000mAh battery launched in India for Rs 17,990

The Chinese manufacturer vivo launched the NEX Dual Display in December with three-camera smartphones, but made the technology more affordable when the V15 Pro was announced. As of today, even the very affordable Y Series has a member with three fencers in the back, after the vivo Y17 is finally officialized.

The phone comes with a large 6.35 "LCD screen with HD + resolution and an unusual 19.3: 9 aspect ratio. For the moment, the phone only has 4 GB of RAM. 128GB of storage, but the company could launch more options in the future. The chipset is Helio P35, built on the Process FinMC 12 nm TSMC. In theory, it has eight cores with a maximum frequency of 2.3 GHz, although vivo did not announce it.

The biggest asset of the phone is clearly the triple camera. It has a 8 MP f / 2.2 wide-angle camera at the top, the 13 MP f / 2.2 main shooter is in the center, the third camera is a 2 MP depth sensor. Although the so-called "wide angle AI camera" has a field of view of 120 degrees, it actually captures 108 degrees after taking into account the distortion. The front camera measures 20 MP with f / 2.0 aperture.

The phone also brings another essential feature: the 18W fast charge for the monster battery of 5,000 mAh, the largest power cell ever put by vivo, in a smartphone. Not everyone can afford a gaming smartphone, so the company has implemented the Y17 Ultra Game in vivo mode, which allocates system resources when needed. after all, MediaTek updates the Helio P35 to meet the specific needs of smartphone gamers.

The phone is already available for purchase at several offline stores in India. It has two colors - mineral blue and mystic purple, and a single price tag - INR17 990 or about $ 260 / € 230.
