Oppo A Series phones will soon have a new dog: the Oppo A9. Wrong information on the phone suggests it could be unveiled next week and it would cost around CNY 1,700 - about $ 250 / € 225.
The phone is equipped with a dual camera on the back with a 48MP main sensor, similar to the Reno. There are no pop-up cameras here, but just a selfie camera in a drop-shaped notch.
The Oppo A9 has a fingerprint reader in the back. The vertical mark is Oppo's newest design language.
The battery inside the phone will have a capacity of 4,020 mAh and will benefit from the fast charge VOOC 3.0 (20W). The phone should have three color versions at launch: Ice White Jade, Mica Green and Fluorite Purple.
The A9 will ship with a single memory configuration - 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The chipset is unknown, but the A-series tends to use MediaTek chipsets (and some entry-level Snapdragons). The phone should be unveiled on April 30 (next Tuesday) if the leak is correct.
